Dr. Ebroon completed his undergraduate training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He obtained his Medical Degree from Northwestern University Medical School. His internship and residency in Ophthalmology were completed also at Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Ebroon is Board Certified in Ophthalmology. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. Dr. Ebroon then finished a fellowship in Refractive Surgery at Northwestern.

How did Dr. Ebroon become an eyelid plastic surgeon?
Dr. Ebroon graduated at the top of his class at MIT with a degree in molecular biology and with honors from Northwestern University Medical School. He then did an internship in Internal Medicine followed by a three year Ophthalmology residency at Northwestern. Next, he completed a prestigious ophthalmic plastic surgery fellowship in New York. Finally, he passed a set of four rigorous exams and did a year long thesis which led to his acceptance in the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Ebroon is one of about 400 such trained eyelid plastic surgeons in the world.

Dr. Ebroon is board certified in ophthalmology and has been heavily involved in academic medicine. Dr. Ebroon teaches eyelid plastic surgery at the UCLA school of medicine, as well as a teacher and mentor to other physicians including Dermatologists, and Plastic Surgeons on the advanced technique in cosmetic fillers and Botox. He was a full time Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Northwestern University Medical School and held the prominent position of Residency Program Director. In this capacity he was honored to receive the award for professor of the year. He has written many articles and book chapters. He has also given hundreds of lectures to medical students and residents.
